Complete House Renovation in London Clapton, E5
Initially requiring extensive remedial work after the construction stage of this renovation had been started by another team, we came in to start the internal works from scratch and revamped the whole plumbing and heating system, as well as the electrical installation. New underfloor heating was fitted over two floors and a brand new bathroom created on the second floor. Interesting features of this project included exposed internal brickwork, original mouldings, high quality engineered floors and custom-made carpentry. This is one of the oldest houses we had been hired to work on. The structure of the property was extremely weak with many areas of hallow walls and plaster falling off. The challenge was to create a stronger, more sustainable shell before getting to the internal decorations. The hard part was what is not visible from the end photos. All interior choices we made by the client directly under our partial advice and supervision.
