Double Storey Extension and Renovation - Finsbury Park, London N4
This renovation almost doubled the size of this mid-terraced house in Finsbury Park. We built a two-storey extension, adding a second bathroom and bedroom on the upper level and an open-plan kitchen-diner with a new bathroom on the ground floor. Lower part extended even further into the garden with roof lights over kitchen island. A Juliette balcony was fitted for the first floor French doors. The internal finishes featured exposed brickwork of the original external wall as a splash back area in the new bathroom, solid tops and custom-made niches in bathrooms. Though some parts of the property were not affected by the works, extensive changes to existing electrical and heating system were made, adapting to modern standards.
